Preparation

Begin by removing any protective plastics and heat shields from under the van to clear the installation area.

Heater and Fuel Line Installation

Install the heater in the factory-designated position under the van, run the fuel line from the heater to the vehicle’s diesel tank, and securely tap into the tank with a silent pump.

Manifold Installation

Install both the cold air intake and exhaust manifolds to ensure proper airflow and exhaust management for the heater.

Heater Pipework Setup

Complete the installation by routing the heater pipework from the heater to a pre-selected location inside the vehicle for effective heat distribution.

While working on my own self build Mercedes Sprinter, there were a couple of areas in which I was unable to get the finish that I wanted myself, specifically the carpeting and flooring. Darren did a great job on this with a much more professional finish than I'd be able to achieve myself and has a few tricks up his sleeve to finish everything off that I wouldn't have thought of. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to have work done on their van.

We recently bought our VW already fully converted but the interior carpet lining didn’t match other areas of the interior in terms of quality or finish. We approached Darren on recommendation from a friend and got the beast booked in for a recarpet. End result is a fabulous newly lined interior roof and pop top area. The roof interior is now a soft faux suede material with extra padding which creates a warm and cosy feel. It really adds to the van’s aesthetic and makes the interior seem much more premium compared to before. An investment worthwhile for sure
