Preparation

Clean the fitting area and protect the entire side of the van with tape and sheets to prevent scratches from metal shavings.

Window Shaping

Cut along the inner template of the window recess and apply primer to any exposed metal.

Priming

Prime the bonding area on the van and the window to prepare both surfaces for adhesion.

Installation

Apply adhesive to the van's window aperture, secure the window in place, and ensure it remains supported while the bond cures.

While working on my own self build Mercedes Sprinter, there were a couple of areas in which I was unable to get the finish that I wanted myself, specifically the carpeting and flooring. Darren did a great job on this with a much more professional finish than I'd be able to achieve myself and has a few tricks up his sleeve to finish everything off that I wouldn't have thought of. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to have work done on their van.

We recently bought our VW already fully converted but the interior carpet lining didn’t match other areas of the interior in terms of quality or finish. We approached Darren on recommendation from a friend and got the beast booked in for a recarpet. End result is a fabulous newly lined interior roof and pop top area. The roof interior is now a soft faux suede material with extra padding which creates a warm and cosy feel. It really adds to the van’s aesthetic and makes the interior seem much more premium compared to before. An investment worthwhile for sure
